{Dessert} The Audacious Cakery x Updates

While I am trying to retrieve my photos and blog post for the Ice Exhibitions, I shall blogged about this mini Cafe that my friend, Joash brought me to a couple of months back.

Some of you may take it as an excuse, but nope I am not (for those who believed) as I have been constantly updating my instagram. Reason being, they are in my phone and somehow when I tried blogging somedays back with that 'blog app' which I had been using when I first started blogging it works perfectly but not now. More, the only time I have more was my journey from Bukit Batok to Changi Aiport for work. For those who do not know, I am having my interns with the Changi Airport Group. It is approximately 2 month from now. I had learnt a lot from operations of the airport to words of speech.

Nevertheless, let me get back to the main topic. Joash bought me to the Cafe @ Blk 2 Everton Park #01-161 and that was our first outing. The Cafe is called The Audacious Cakery! Quite a unique name I thought. They have pretty layout as well. So if you are thinking where to bring your partner for a date, probably this is one of the place you could consider? However, its a walking distance from the nearest MRT.

Even their name care is pretty!

That's all for an intro. So Now what we ordered? Haha, Forget all the name but yeah, they do taste yummy and I still can remember how it taste like in my mouth

Dark Chocolate flavor, it wasn't that bitter but more of a sweetness taste.
As I personally do not like to eat dark chocolates.
But its worth a good try ^^

This was amazing! Fresh fruits everywhere. The papaya was crunchie and abit of sour mango. 

So there is this Imstagram Contest ongoing that time when we visit. Not sure if there is now but I sent in this:

What do you think? Very Creative isn't it? (haha *blush*) #JJK but I guess I didn't win but nvm its just for fun! That's how it looks inside (except for the cream). There are actually small bites of papaya inside which I kinda like it cause its like soft on the outside crunchie on the inside.

After that, we went to walk around Chinatown I took a few photos that I guess we wouldn't be able to see it again in the future.

Ending of September 2013

Hey there!

I see that there is still readers in my blog, though I suspect I am only one blogger that is not so hardworking to an extend. Trying hard to have some interesting topics (never have one till now & hope you will suggest ^^ hehe)

It is Singapore's First D.I.Y Pancake House where you gets to create your own pancake styles and designs with the myriad of toppings and brunch sides availables! There are many pancake batter flavours for you to choose from! Not forgetting, they have Student Buffet as well @ S$10 per pax ONLY! (where you can choose one batter flavours and free toppings) ^^

#2: SupperMan @ Tanjong Pagar

My best working colleague, aka KorKor, brought me here! He went almost every day and bringing his friends to try the food. It is blessed to be here with him as the food are pretty nice and the serving was filling :P We went there during lunch hour so we could enjoy their lunch set promotions ^^ (they have some uniqueness behind and is for you to find out! Hehe) Below are the food I ate!

Will be coming back some days to bring my le boy here! Hahas [Can't Wait!]

Side dish recommended by Kor Kor and is his favourite
It's taste pretty different :P

#3: Birthday Treats @ The Rink , Jcube

This month was pretty occupied with many schedules and I have not yet find a time to celebrate with my le boys. [if you have follow me on fb, you should know it] As promise, Shing and I treated this two le boys with the Birthday Treats Vouchers distributed by Capital LandMall @Jcube/IMM.

Hi people, I don't know how many of you read my space but anyway my 18th Birthday wasn't the best I ever had but there are many celebrations at different dates. So I got a ukelele from one my pastor and family as my birthday present. I got so eleated that I rushed to record the above audio. It wasn't well done as it was too soft (because i wan to eliminate some weird noise) and I apologised for it. However, with ear pcs, u guys till can hear luh.

Birthday Card: Pop-up Cake

This will be my first post before the start of my Y1S2 tomorrow. As such, I will be sharing with you guys what I did for my friends birthday lately. You can see from the post title, yesh I am going to show you an inspired Birthday Card by Extreme Cards and PaperCrafting.

Without furtherado, let me present you my Inspired Birthday Card.

1st attempt:
Birthday Friend: Keven Chew
Theme: Penguins

The image on the bottom right hand corner is how the card will look like after folding it. 

This is a "Penguin Cake"
Materials used - Paint and Post-it

Of course every card need a nice cover.
Materials used - Snow Flakes cutter and Post-it.
 

2st attempt:
Birthday Friend: Chua Pei Xuan
Theme: Simple

So that's all readers, you can either create your own templet like what I did for the first one or print out the templet from their website @ http://extremecards.blogspot.sg/2010/07/origamic-architecture-wedding-cake.html . There are two different templets and of cource what they do is better than mine! This is a low barget type of hand-made card.

Why did I say low budget?
What I saw in my house that I have purchased long ago, I make used of it. This means I didn't really spent money on purchasing any materials that you have seen above. Great right!? Try to look around your house to see what you have now and come up with something nice^^

I am Sherry. I loved crafts and photos especially SELCA (aka Self Capture)
Just got to know the diploma that I am posted to in RP Campus Life. 12 Oct, will be the starts of my journey. Pretty excited ^^ as I was posted to Diploma in Civil Aviations (DCA) and most of my Y1S1 classmates too! All these have to thank Zongyuan as he endure all my nagging for a Sem. Me kinda irritating arh! Hahas. ^^
